Biography
Schardt travelled and studied for some years in Italy, notably in Rome, in the Veneto, and in Bologna. He was in the service of the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II in Vienna, and also worked at the Danish court. He may have died in Nuremberg, possibly in the early 1590s.
