About Giovanni Guerra

1540–1618

Brother of Gaspare (1560-1622) and Giovanni Battista (dates unknown), architects and painters. From 1575, member of the Accademia di San Luca in Rome. Giovanni worked with Domenico Fontana during the pontificate of Sixtus V and participated in the competition for the moving of the Vatican obelisk. Italian artist.
