About Giovanni Battista Foggini

1652–1725Grand Duchy of Tuscany

Foggini was the foremost sculptor of Baroque Florence. After Pietro Tacca's death, he was appointed grand ducal sculptor and later became the court architect. His only rival was Massimiliano Soldani. Comment on works: Sculptor
