Biography
Mr. Lee-Smith won honors for painting in 1953 from the Detroit Institute of Arts. From 1958 to 1973 he taught at the Art Students League in Manhattan. In 1994 he was commissioned to paint the official City Hall portrait of Mayor David N. Dinkins.
