About this artwork
De prentserie waar deze prent deel van uitmaakt werd in drie delen van twaalf prenten vanaf 1827 tot en met 1830 gepubliceerd. Elk van de drie delen werd voorzien van een aparte omslag. De wagen voor de voedsters vertrok vanuit de dorpen in de omgeving van Parijs om baby's in het ziekenhuis in de stad te voeden.
