About Frédéric Flachéron

1813–1883France

Flachéron began photographing in Italy as early as 1848. From 1850 to 1852, Flachéron was the leading figure in a circle of photographers who met at the Caffé Greco in Rome. Photography & Architecture states that Flachéron left Rome in 1867, perhaps for Paris, where he died in 1883.
