Een grote rots in zee, met daarop een burcht of stad en een nest van waaruit enkele adelaars opvliegen, die elk een wapenschild om de hals dragen. Rond deze adelaars een banderol met een Latijnse spreuk. Onder deze voorstelling, in de marge, het wapen van Charles-Joseph de Tornielle, de graaf van Brionne.
