Drie vrouwen en drie mannen dansen hand in hand in een grote kring in een zaal. Achter hen staan drie ridders met fakkels, onder wie Freydal. Vanaf een balkon kijkt een koningsdochter toe. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie illustraties voor het verhaal 'Freydal', over de gelijknamige ridder, bedoeld als verheerlijking van de daden van keizer Maximiliaan I.
