Rechts staat een aantal mensen op krukken in de rij bij een man die soep uitdeelt. Onder de voorstelling een zesregelig Frans vers. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van 17 (18 incl. titelprent) prenten met voorstellingen van diverse soorten ellende die oorlogvoering met zich meebrengt.
