Christus hangt aan het kruis, tussen de twee kruisen met de twee dieven. Onder het kruis treuren de Maria's, Johannes en Maria Magdalena. Op de achtergrond vertrekt de menigte toeschouwers en soldaten weer terug naar de stad. Tekst en opdracht in het Latijn in de ondermarge.
