Jan Harmensz. (1581–162) was a Dutch engraver active during the transition from late Mannerism to the early Baroque period in the Netherlands. His small print *Musicerend paar* (Musical Couple captures an intimate scene of figures playing instruments, popular motif that symbolized harmony,, and the pleasures of leisure in 16th- and 17th-century European culture.
