This delicate printed cotton textile, simply titled *Piece*, hails from late 19th-century Russia and exemplifies the era's vibrant decorative arts tradition. Measuring 12½ x 7¾ inches (31.8 x 19.7 cm), it features intricate motifs of flowers and leaves, in a repeating pattern that captures the natural beauty so cherished in Russian folk design.
