1607–1656Kingdom of Naples

Responsible for religious paintings for many churches in Naples. His only complete surviving fresco cycle is the 'History of Moses' in the Villa Roomer at Barra. He is now remembered mainly for his battle pieces. He died in the plague of 1656. Italian painter, printmaker.
