About Matthias Buchinger

1674–1739 • Holy Roman Empire

Born without hands or feet, Buchinger was celebrated as a draftsman and calligrapher and a specialist in micrography. He also performed as a musician and magician for both nobility and members of the general public in the early 18th century.
