Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van 23 prenten (24 incl. titelprent) met telkens op de voorgrond twee straatartiesten verkleed als figuren uit de Italiaanse commedia dell'arte, en op de achtergrond toeschouwers die in de buitenlucht een (dans)voorstelling van straatartiesten gadeslaan.
