This exhibition explores the timeless wisdom of Lao Tse through 35 abstract artworks. Each piece reflects the principle of flow — the movement of life, transformation of nature, and harmony between opposites. Visitors are invited to walk through shifting planes of thought where metamorphosis, silence, and balance are expressed in painterly abstraction.
This exhibition invites the viewer into the living philosophy of Lao Tzu, where art becomes a mirror of the Tao — the Way that underlies all existence. Across thirty‑five works, each canvas is a verse, each stroke a meditation on transformation, emptiness, and harmony.
The journey begins with The Tao — The Source, the ineffable origin from which all forms arise. From there, the viewer encounters Being and Non‑Being, the paradox of presence defined by absence, and Return to the Source, the spiral of life flowing back into unity.
The path continues through Wu Wei — Effortless Action, expressed as water moving around stone, and Flexibility of Water, where softness overcomes hardness. Change as the Law of Nature and seasons in motion remind us of impermanence, while desires and suffering dissolve into light.
Moments of stillness appear in the lotus of silence, humility in the reed beside the mountain, and balance in the yin–yang of opposites. The works culminate in Unity of All Things, Silence and Speech, and the Phoenix Rising, symbolising rebirth and return.
Together, these images form a contemplative hall where visitors walk not only among paintings but also through Lao Tse’s wisdom itself. The exhibition is a meditation on flow — the flow of consciousness, of nature, of time, and of the human spirit seeking harmony with the eternal Tao.
