Voor deze prent ontleende Marcantonio Raimondi verschillende motieven aan het werk van Francesco di Francia (Shoemaker 1981, p. 52). Op het opzetkarton staat een notitie over de verdwenen doublure waarop zich verzamelaarsmerken bevonden (waarschijnlijk Lugt 10 en 11).
