Oorkop en schotel van porselein, beschilderd op het glazuur in blauw, rood, zwart en goud. Op het plat van de schotel het wapen van de familie Saunders met drie olifanten; het helmteken is tevens een olifant omgeven door acanthusbladeren. Op de wand een Europese decoratieve band in Lodewijk XIV-stijl met vogels en servetwerk in cartouches. Oud label op de onderzijde met 'Saunders (governor of Madras)'. Een barst in de wand van de kop. Wapenporselein met emailkleuren.
