This enchanting print captures the opulent decorations crafted by two masters of French Baroque art, Charles Lebrun and Pierre Mignard at the grand Palace of Versailles. Lebrun, Louis XIV's favored First Painter, orchestrated much of the palace's lavish interior schemes in the late 17th century, classical mythology, royal allegory, and gilded splendor to embody the Sun King's absolute power.
