Der kleine Ort Granatello liegt am Fuße des Vesuvs zwischen Portici und Herkulaneum. Das Gebäude links hinten ist die Villa d´Ellboef (erbaut 1738), der Sommersitz der Könige von Neapel und beider Sizilien und später von Caroline Murat, Gemahlin des Königs von Neapel, Gioacchino Murat.
