Hercules, lopend met over elke schouder een grote zuil, het leeuwenvel om zijn middel geknoopt. Op de achtergrond staan de twee zuilen op de rotskust bij de huidige straat van Gibraltar, en zit Hercules met zijn knie op een gevangen zwijn, mogelijk het zwijn van Erymanthus. Onder de voorstelling een tweeregelige tekst in het Latijn. Twaalfde prent uit een serie van dertien met de werken van Hercules.
