Op een oplopende plankenvloer staat de tafel, waaromheen een U-vormige bank met schraagvormige poten is geplaatst. Achter de tafel zit Christus temidden van de opeengedrongen apostelen tussen Johannes, die met zijn hoofd aan Christus' borst rust, en Petrus, die half naar hem is toegewend en met de linkerarm op de tafel steunt.
