Landschap met rotsen en rivier met rechts een stad aan de voet van een rots. Een vergezicht toont aan de horizon nog een stad. Het perspectief in de voorstelling is niet helemaal juist. Op de voorgrond zwemmen eenden en staan waterplanten die in verhouding tot de stad op het middenplan veel te groot zijn weergegeven.
