About this artwork

On the upper part of the fragment, a kneeling archer aims to the left. On the opposite side of a tree, another archer aims toward a camel. The animal’s mouth is open with its tongue extended in surprise as a large feline pounces on its back. The Arabic inscription along the left edge gives a spurious date and name of the purported maker.
