Proefdruk voor reproductie in het satirisch tijdschrift Le Rire, Parijs, 10/11/1894. Toulouse-Lautrec maakte verschillende tekeningen voor reproducties in dit tijdschrift. Hij koos daarvoor onderwerpen uit het dagelijks leven maar ook beroemdheden. De illustratie in Le Rire toont behalve zwart en wit nog iets meer kleur in de haren en lippen van de actrice. Dit werk wordt niet beschreven bij Wittrock 1985.
