This etching and engraving by Francesco Venturini captures dynamic group of soldiers from Polidoro da Caravaggio's lost frescoes on the façade of the Milesi Palace in Rome's Via della Maschera'Oro. Dating to around 1650–1700, the print depicts five figures in varied poses: one soldier faces forward gripping a sword, another turns his back while holding a cup, and stand behind with standards and spears.
