About this artwork
The front has a bust of Artemis, a diadem circling her head and a quiver over her shoulder. On the reverse is Apollo Delphios holding a laurel branch, standing on a meander pattern, and leaning his left elbow on a tripod, all within a laurel wreath. Magnesia is located southeast of Ephesus on a tributary of the Meander River.
