Abraham Jansz. van Diepenbeeck was baptised on 9 May 1596 in ’s-Hertogenbosch in the Habsburg Netherlands, the son of the glass painter Jan Roelofsz. van Diepenbeeck, under whom he studied and trained in the family craft.
