Alma Thomas's *Untitled* (1973) is a vibrant gouache on wove paper, measuring 11 7/8 × 15 3/4 inches, now housed in the National Gallery of Art's collection through the generous gift of Bob Stana and Tom Judy. Created late in the artist's career, this work captures Thomas's signature abstract style, which emerged prominently after her groundbreaking Whitney Museum exhibition in 1972—the first for a Black woman artist at that venue.
