National Gallery of Art
The National Gallery of Art is an art museum in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall. It was established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1937. The Gallery maintains one of the finest collections of art in the world, with over 150,000 paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, and decorative arts.
