About this artwork

Shirt-like garment of white linen, with a full body gathered into a straight neck band, slit at front neck opening, and long sleeves narrowing to the wrist. Bobbin lace insertions at each seam are further embellished with floral embroidery in pale yellow silk, and bobbin lace trims the collar, sleeves and hem of the garment.
