About this artwork

The depicted structure has a square plan and low dome. The central doorway is flanked by two obelisks with trophies. They are placed upon semi-circular pedestals. The structure includes a frieze, between the base and the dome, with figurative decoration. Small scale figures (crowds) surround the building.
