Fudo Myo'o is one of the Buddhist kings of knowledge, and is a symbol of immovable steadfastness in the face of passion, egoism, and temptation. Fudo is usually represented as standing on a stony pedestal with a flaming halo of light behind him. Two young attendants, Kongara doji and Seitaka koji, often accompany images of Fudo.
