Charles Abraham Chasselat (1782–1843) was a French historical painter, draughtsman, and lithographer who became particularly renowned for his book illustrations and documentation of state ceremonials. Born in Paris in 1782, Chasselat was the son of Pierre Chasselat (1753–1814), a miniaturist, which provided him early exposure to artistic practice and the demands of commissioned work.
