About this artwork
Intaglio print depicting a courtyard in which a young woman stands in the foreground, holding two containers. To her right is a large stone well. Several turkeys are walking in the foreground, around the well, and behind the woman. In the background is a building with stairs and a railing. Three figures stand are are seated before a doorway at the top of the stairs. Above them is a trellis with grapevine, which hangs down over the stairs.
